Elvis Aaron Presley Was Born The Child Of Gladys & Vernon Presley In A Two-Room Shack In Tupelo Mississippi On January 8, 1935. Jessie Garon His Twin Brother Was Stillborn, Elvis Was Left To Grow Up An Only Child.

 

Elvis Was Influenced By The Music Of The Day Which Was Pop, Country, Black R&B He Heard On Beale Street As A Teenager In Memphis And Especially The Southern Gospel Music He Heard In Church And  At The All Night Gospel Sings.

         

In 1954 His Career Began With Sun Records In Memphis. Then In 1955 His Recording Contract Was Bought From Sun Records And Sold To RCA Victor.  Already By 1956 He Was A Super Star.

 

Elvis Stared In 33 Popular Hit Movies.  Made History With His TV Specials & Appearances.  Many knew Elvis By His Record Breaking Live Performances.  I.e. (Aloha From Hawaii & Houston Astrodome)

 

All Over The World Elvis Has Sold Over A Billion Records.  More Than Any Other Performer Has Done.  He Won Gold, Platinum, Or Multi-Platinum Awards Because of His Sales Of 130 Different Albums & Singles.

 

Elvis’s Charming Looks, Good Humour, Special Talent, Kindness, And Charisma Earned Him Respect  To Millions Of People of All races.



If You Say The Name “Elvis” To Anyone Anywhere In The World,  His First Name Is Known.

 

Also, His Known As One Of The Most Popular Cultural Figures Of The Twentieth Century.

 

Elvis’s Last Performance Was Two Months Before He Passed Away.  The Day Elvis Passed Away Millions Of People All Over The World Mourned. Everyone Knew Where They Were Or What They Were Doing On This Sad Day Of August 16, 1977.

 

Elvis Will be Remembered As A Kind Compassionate,  And Giving Human Being.
